Syrian dissident Kamal al Labwani: "We must free ourselves from the dictatorship for ourselves"

"Until they left the jail, Dr. Kamal al Labwani could not imagine living his dream, the cause for which he had fought all my life and for which he paid a second time with the prison, was a reality. ....""His view is shared by many protesters and activists inside and outside the country. Suspicious of an institution who have joined the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood, and number of little influence inside the country, which claims 60% representation of the Syrians and how it will forward its policy on Hezbollah, Iran or Lebanon although, at present, has no legitimacy because it has not been subjected to the polls. On the future of protest, both peaceful and the navy, Kamal points out that "this is a real revolution, not a sectarian conflict. Everyone asks for your right to live in peace, to express themselves, get rid of corruption, to enjoy a modern state. The aim is to claim legitimate rights, not about a revolution of the Muslim Brotherhood though, if the revolution succeeds, they will try [monopolize] but neither are strong in Syria to do nor will we allow them to do so. "The doctor is confident that the Army is Free Syria who change the destiny of the country. "There are plans to start attacking weapons depots. Need ammo and neighboring countries refuse to provide it, so let's do it ourselves. "Accustomed as he is on the repression that has already attended 30 years ago in Hama, the doctor is not surprised by the violent response of the regime. "These statistics cited by United Nations is a tiny part of what is happening in Syria," he says with conviction. "We estimate that in total there have been 30,000 deaths, of which 5,000 soldiers would Assad. Free Army ammunition but no conviction, whenever there is a battle we hear of dozens of soldiers killed in combat. "The figures, in their view, only encourage a revolution that has no turning back. "If the regime insists on killing us, we insist on defending ourselves." Labwani not support foreign intervention, which it considers will never occur. "Even if they wanted, they can. Syria is not Libya: Libya is a vast country with a small population isolated Syria has powerful neighbors and has no oil and has a huge destabilizing power. Trigger an attack on Syria to Iran, and everything will burn. We will not help them promote sectarian conflict in Iraq, Lebanon, in Syria itself. We must free ourselves from the dictatorship. "
